Tamil Heritage Month - UK

Ancient Tamil Literature Reimagined: a Creative Writing Workshop

Saturday 28th January
5.30pm to 7pm

Sangam Literature is thought to have been written and compiled between the 1st and 4th century CE, making it more than 2,000 years old.

This Tamil Heritage Month, connect to your heritage or discover a new body of literature at our writing workshop.

We’ll be using translated examples of Sangam Literature – often poignant, sometimes unexpected and always beautiful – as inspiration for our own writing. This workshop will be an opportunity to play, be inspired, and connect to Tamil heritage.

No experience in Tamil Literature or creative writing is required.

Open to everyone aged 17 and up.
